11.2% alcohol. Tasted in Speigelau Grand Palais Chardonnay glasses. (Yeah, should have taken out the Sauternes glasses.... )

Fig, mango, tropical fruits on the nose. Lusciously sweet. Full mouthfeel with a moderate finish. This went very well with some hard cheeses that we were nibbling on after dinner.

List price is $17, although typically available for $14 or so. Great QPR for a dessert wine and always brings smiles.

WDoT points: 88+.

WDoT,

What size bottle does this come in? 375,500 or 750ml?

Thanks,

IW

Not to be too picky, but shouldn't this thread be in the Dessert Wine section??

PS: It's just after 5AM, and I'm bored. Sorry.

Picky picky picky.

Yes, budman, you are correct. Maybe the Moderator(s) will move this.

I forgot that they had a classification for desserts. Shows you what I know!

Thanks.

Ya know I think they have this wine at the SF Taylors Refresher. They do have the Le Cigare Volant and a couple of Joel Gott wines. There is a Shafer Merlot too. I think you can get everything in half bottles. But best of all they have Anchor Liberty Ale!

Found this in the discount bin on the way home for $11.96 a bottle. Pretty good QPR at that price and drinking pretty well. Not complex but pleasurable.
