Tasted over 3 hours. Improved with time...
Ahh, this is lovely as ever. Every vintage that I've had, I think I go back to 01, is just lovely. The price is up the last couple of years though...
If you are aware & tasted this wine in the past, it offers much of the same characteristics: honey, lemony, apricot, white peach. Good complexity, nice fruit, nice balance, & from start to finish excellent. And, of course, a long tasty, wonderful after taste.
I have to say one thing: it was tight @ 1st, not showing much. But, with time, just kept improving & improving & blossoming (into a beauty that it is).
I have 2 more bottles & will hold another year or so to try my 2nd bottle.
Result: Upon 1st few sips: 88/88+ After an hour or so: 90/90+ After 2 hours or so: 92/92+ (easy). I can see 93, even 94 for sure.
I love this wine! | | |

| I love it also. I haven't tried the 04 yet. I don't know why more wineries don't grow Scheurebe. | | | |
