| Pale garnet-orange colour. Aromas of dried quince, ginger, thyme, cardamom; almost Campari-like. Medium-sweet, medium-bodied. Palate follows from nose. Moderate finish, 30s; very unique. Barolo with a secret blend of herbs steeped in, it's a very interesting digestif. 88 points (05/13/2005). | | |

| Different Chinato producers put different spices in. They list some of the herbs on the label of the bottle, but not all. | | | |
