| $25.00, bought from Board_O.
Oh boy, this is wonderful stuff. 8% alcohol, so refreshing, light, smooth, enjoyable, & clean. Very nice. Very nice.
Color is pale light yellow. Aroma is perfect, just wonderfully refreshing (pear & apricot). Also tasted pear, white raisin, & apricot. Lots of apricot. And just a bit, a bit @ the very end of honey.
Clean, smooth, long, wonderful finish.
Rating: 93points, drink now.
Thanks a lot, Board_O. I understand that this does not make it to retail @ all. PM your way to get some more, if possible. Thanks.

| I'm a Phelps Preferred member and will ask about this wine. If it is available I'm sure I can get it. I'll post here. Those of you in the SF bay area let me know if you are interested. | | | |

| I've been singing the praises of this wine since the 1994 vintage. Scheurebe, imo, is the world's greatest dessert wine grape, though virtually no one will agree with that. Everybody I've had this wine with loved it. At the winery, last Summer, latour67 tasted it and bought ten bottles. Now he's complaining he didn't buy enough. I think it's the greatest dessert wine made in North America. | | | |

| Try using winesearcher if anyone is interested. I see the 2002 from Winex and quite a few others. In fact, I can see bottles at retail from 1996 to 2003, except for 1999.

| Hey Lafon, you will love it. It's one of the moreenjoyable wines I had in some time. I stress the wordenjoyable .
A pleasure to drink. Next thing we knew it was gone. We were just talking & did not notice how the entire bottle was gone.
Usually, dessert wines are a 2-day affair with us.

If I remember correctly, the 2003 should be released in May.

| I received the following from Phelps a couple of days ago:
The Eisrebe is a fantastic dessert wine. Unfortunately we are completely sold out of the 2002 and all other past vintages of Eisrebe. We will be sending the 2003 Eisrebe in the next shipment on Monday, May 3. Let me know if you would like to order additional bottles. The price is $20 ($25 retail). Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
So it looks like the 2002 and all other previous vintages are sold out. I'll be at the winery on the 16th so I can check in for the 2003 then.
