Dr. T, if you can't find the Chambers, a store on LI has it. I got some for lcc. I don't remember exactly, but I think it was about $14 + tax.

I don't remember exactly what I paid for it, but whatever it was, it was the exact same amount you paid me, lcc.

I wouldn't buy it all, but that is a good price and you should definitely grab a few. I don't think it will fetch a great price on the secondary market, but I could be wrong.

FYI, Carolina Wine Co. had the Caliope on sale last week for $39.99 (prob. still does) - best price I have seen so far. I picked some up a while ago from K&L for $45

I believe they're referring to the Buller Calliope Muscat.

I definitely had the R.L Buller & Son Premium Fine Muscat Victoria tonight. Here are my notes:

Clear reddish brown color in the glass. Nose of nuts, almonds, burnt sugar, carmel. Flavors of brown sugar, crème brulee, and as we say in the south, “buttered biscuits with sorghum”. 91 points. Drink and enjoy now.

Tried the Tokay yet? I like it better than the Muscat.

Not yet but at this price you really can't go wrong. I think I paid the inflated price of 12.99. I'm heading back tomorrow to clear them out of the Muscat. I think I saw the Tokay while I was there. I'll try that next.

When I first bought this wine, I believe the price was $10.56. When I repurchased it, I think it was $12.99. Parker gave the Muscat a 97 and the Tokay a 95, but I prefer the Tokay. Grab some.

Opened one of these (again) tonight. Consistent with my previous notes. The only difference to me is that it seems to have softened a little. This makes it more enjoyable IMO. I would still peg it in the low 90s.

I bought a botlle of the Muscat and Tokay to the Seattle dinner a few nights ago and they were both big hits, of course the '63 Cockburn abd '83 Sandemann were nothing to sneeze at.
