A "workhorse" chateau with steady, thick, sweet, if clunky wines.  This half bottle was no different.  Orange zest and honey, with a touch of fennel.  Thick flavors are well preserved for a wine of this age.  Not particularly complex, but sweet and correct.  91 points.
