1971 Bodegas Toro Albala Montilla-Moriles Don PX Gran Reserva - Spain, Andalucía, Montilla-Moriles (6/11/2008)
WIML92

Tasted June 11, 2008 at and offline.

Opened and served immediately. Dark molasses like color in the glass, fairly opaque. Nose of sorghum, toasted almonds and anise. Flavors of licorice and molasses. Medium acidity, full body. Think and unctuous on the palate without any cloying. Drink or hold over the medium term. Picked up at least 1 WIML point since the last tasting. (92 pts.)

Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.
