Tasted January 20, 2007 at a retail tasting. Served in a Riedel sweet wine glass. Ruby color in the glass, slightly opaque. Hot alcoholic nose of dried currants, brown sugar and Kirsch. Flavors of black cherries, golden raisins and just a bit of nuttiness. Weak finish, even for a 10 year tawny. Drink now. (86 pts.)
