Tasted January 20, 2007 at a retail tasting. Served in a Riedel sweet wine glass. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of födel, nutmeg , some herbs (“Aromatisch”), sandlewood and maybe hints of orange. Flavors of orange foam and granny smith apples. Light to medium acidity and body. Very interesting, maybe attractive nose but the palate doesn’t seem to quite match. Drink or hold. (90 pts.)
