Tasted this weekend at the 3rd anniversary of the Toronto Wine Cru (TWC). Served with foie gras on toast with a berried fruit compote. From the glass, immediately emerged glorious notes of toffee and pecan. Full bodied with apricot and orange rind. The balance of sugar and acidity remains
intact, but I wouldn't give this sauternes too much longer.
