1999 Jaboulet Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise -- honey, melon, lychee scents; similar flavors, with some pineapple added; a not-unpleasant hint of bitterness, reminiscent of apricot pit; honey and musky melon on the short to medium finish; not bad, inoffensive. App. 82-3 pts.

Beaumes-de-Venise Muscats will never be my favorite dessert wines.
