What this port lacks in complexity, it makes up in its wonderful, velvety texture and purity of fruit. Aromatically it is a little closed right now, but it drank well nonetheless. A nice after dinner drink to sip on the porch. It is much better than a lot of other ruby ports I have tried in the same price range. Purchased for $15, this is my 5th or 6th bottle tried and still very nice.

87pts.

Thanks for the note, I've still got quite a bit of this as well, I really liked it last year, great QPR IMHO. Not quite port weather around here though....

Quinta do Noval is my favorite LBV Port. Being unfiltered, its' not as sweet and syruppy as some of the others.

I love a little port after dinner also, but can't afford VP for every day drinking (just special occasions).

LBV Port and a cigar after dinner...yummmmmmmmm!
