Tasted last night from 375 ml - impenetrable purple color. Closed nose. An hour later there's some cassis liqueur, tar and macerated blackberries. On the palate quite dry and reserved. Certainly holding itself in check right now. Very tannic. Not showing the lush fruit the 2000 did at this point in its life.
