I've crossed over to the dark side. I've been trying NOT to get into port for fear of picking up yet another expensive taste in wine. Recent dinners out followed by really nice ports have done me in. Here is my first port TN.

Dusty violet colors in the glass. Mild nutty nose of plum and raisin. Sweet currant and spice over a thin layer of dark European style chocolate flavors. Pretty nice little port for cooking and drinking now at the $15.99 I purchased it for today. I give it the WIML inexperienced port rating of 85 points.

WIML-- I am not getting into Port yet, for the very same reason you mentioned. I have to keep a lid on my winde budget, and keeping myself from branching out into places I have yet to try seems to be the best way. This way, I think, I don't know what I am missing!
