Last week I had the good fortune to taste these two wines side by side. The Taylor showed tremendous backbone while the Fonseca exuded cigar notes and a spicy 45 second finish. I have to say that even though the Taylor was quite tasty, the Fonseca had much more depth and a longer finish.

Well that's good. I've got three of the Fonseca and am just trying to figure out a time to open one.
