| Bottle was in pristine condition. Without a doubt the most profound port that I have ever tasted. Notes of cigar and tobacco spice with a 60 second lingering finish! Could last 20 more years! | | |

| Moutondoc, did you buy this on the aftermarket? Was it an auction, retailer, etc...? Whatever info you could share would be appreciated.

| I agree completely. I've had the 1945 Croft seven times, six times from my own bottles and once at an industry tasting. It is, without a doubt, the finest Port I've ever tasted. | | | |

| I have been fortunate enough to have tasted this wine twice. Once I found it in Dallas sitting on a shelf neglected and I negotiated a decent price for it. The next time I bought it from Brown Derby Wines in Missouri. If you run across it I would highly suggest bargaining down the price, not many people buying 45's for that $$. Well worth the money!! | | | |

Where? Was it temp/humdidy controlled? How long was it on that shelf? | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| Bizarre. I'm generally very wary of situations like that. Do you remember which Red Colemans? There are quite a few around town. BTW, they are not considered to be one of the better retailers in the area. You did well. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| I recall it being near Parkland Hospital but don't know for sure. I got it for $350, a steal but I don't think there are any more left. | | | |

| Jeez, that was a steal! At Red Coleman's no less. I know of one store near Parkland and I would be amazed to find a wine like that there. Kudos! | | | |
