| Clear bright golden in color, the nose displays prominent toasty oak, melon, pear, and citrus. Rich and nicely balanced, with good weight and bright acidity, the heavy oak nose thankfully doesn’t come across as strongly on the palate, where bright focused fruit is seasoned well with spice and minerals. Overall a very tasty Chardonnay, and a terrific effort. 90 points. | | | 2008: the end of an error |

| Glad to here this is nice. When I barrel tasted earlier this year (clos pepe weekend) I though it was a bit heavy. Good, but just a little too much oak. | | | |

| It is certainly not for the Oak-averse... | | | 2008: the end of an error | |
