This is actually a very difficult review for me. I guess my problem is it's a very different tasting chard than the california I'm used to.

color like a S. Blanc, pale gold at best. some mineral and citrus in the nose. Not a lot showing on the palate, more mineral and ample acidity in the finish.

I get the feeling that while there's some oak here, he didn't use too much and was perhaps going for more of a burgandy approach to the highly fruit forward over oaked cali wines. Since I couldn't quite figure this puppy out so I can't rate it. I almost wish I'd had another bottle so I could try it in 2 years and see how it developed, this might actually come with with lessened acidity and richer fruit.

A few weeks back, I posted TN's on both a T-Vine Zin and Syrah. I had never heard of this winery before but I am very impressed with their offerings--scoring both wines in the 90's.

As a burgundy-styled chard fan, I will be on the lookout for this wine as well.
