This was our second bottle of this wine. As good as it was I don't think it's worth the $77 price (inc tax and shipping). Not really comparable to Aubert/Kongsgaard/Kistler, more understated and drank more like a Burgundy in a good way.
2003 Littorai Chardonnay The Tributary - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (10/23/2007)
Medium gold in color; Lots of lemons and minerals on the nose with complex lemon and mineral flavors. It had good balance with a long, aromatic, minerally finish. As jbaron comments in another note it is the anti-Aubert/Kongsgaard. 13.5% alcohol [Drink now or could hold short-term] (92 pts.)Posted from CellarTracker
