Tasted June 10, 2007 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of grass, grapefruit, tropical fruits, citrus fruits and maybe some peach. Flavors of light gooseberry notes, pears, apricots and peaches. Light acidity, light body. Much smoother than the 2005 was in the same timeframe, more like the 2004 vintage. Clocks in at 14.4% alcohol (identical to the 2005 vintage) but it’s barely noticeable if at all (unlike the 2005 vintage). Drink over the short term. Recommended as always at the direct from winery price of $28.00 per 750ml. (90 pts.)

14.4% alcohol. Opened and served immediately. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of gooseberries, lime, lemon and a dash of white pepper. Flavors of lime, lemon, gooseberries and grapefruit. Light to medium acidity and body. Drink over the short term. I'll drink my last remaining bottle this year. (90 pts.)
