2001 Kistler Chardonnay "Cuvee Cathleen". Sonoma County, California. 14.1% alcohol. $70.
Slightly cloudy light gold color. Graham cracker, lemon, and crème brulée in nose with some spicy mineral overtones. Lots of sweet controlled fruit on the palate. Mouth filling with excellent acidity and length. Still tight, drink 2007 to 2011. 94 points.
