http://www.renwood.comLilac sez: What a nice quaffable for a hot day. I've had this in my Vinotemp for a while and decided it was getting hot enough (90-F +) for a nice chilled white.
When I uncorked it I detected a very nice honey, fruit aroma. The first swallow and WOW! The nose was crammed with pineapple and tropical fruits. The first taste was honey and quince behind the tropical fruit, with a barely detectable vanilla background. The finish was short, but very pleasant.
This paired nicely with the mild chicken curry, balmati rice, and brussels sprouts I prepared (balsamic vinegar and chestnuts in the sprouts - yummm).
WS rated: 85. I can't disagree and rate it a "Buy Several Bottles Again". Very good QPR.
