| Nose dominated by carmel, oakspice, vannilin tropical fruits, flowers and pear. Medium intensity with bitterness, pear, flowers and spice. Bottle seemed slightly off, but the seemingly excessive use of oak was off putting. | | |

| We had this wine at The French Manor in the Poconos with seared foie gras with roasted peppers.
The wine had a rich nose of apples and creme caramel. On the palate, the wine was viscous with rich flavors of pears and tropical fruit. This is a huge wine and should age well. This is one of the very few California Chardonnays that I'll probably like better at 6 or 7 years old than at 3 or 4. Me 93. My wife 91. | | | |

| Now for something completely different....pear, butterscotch on first taste and some air time showed lots of lemon, tinge of orange and a thicker viscosity. Pretty complex finish although I got more alcohol bite, despite its claimed 14.1%, than oak. Best 3 Sisters since the '99. I would recommend a 30+ minute decant right now or sit on for a year or two. Really enjoyed this as time went on. mm94 | | | |

| That sounds better. Like I noted I think the bottle was a little off. This was also in a double blind Chardonnay tasting and I didn't have a chance to sit with the wine and watch it evolve. Glad you enjoyed it. | | | |
