I guess it goes for about ~$20 or so, may be ~$25 (retail).

My 1st bottle ever from this producer out of St. Helena.  Heck, I never even heard of them until this bottle.  And, they've been around since late 80s in St. Helena.

Anyway, a pretty good bottle of wine, especially in the summer.  Nice finish, balanced, crisp, balanced fruit with some acidity.  Not bad @ all, I liked it.  And, it was a pool party @ a friend's house.  So, a perfect time for a wine such as this.

Rating: 88 points, just drink it.  It was not decanted either.  Reminds a little of a viog.

Milat is right on 29 a bit south of Dean and Deluca.  The Chenin is their best wine imo.  Slightly sweet but it works in this instance.

They have a small B&B behind their main house (at least the last time we stayed there) that at the time was one heck of QPR. As Daniel said it's right on 29 just south of Dean & Deluca. More or less in the heart of things. Quick and easy to get most places in the valley (one of the crossroads to Silverado Trail is just about across the street) and as best as I recall it was significantly cheaper than any place nearby. The catch? Ever hear of the word Spartan? FWIW.

Early last year they were blowing out their 2002 Cabernet on a case basis for only $20 per bottle. The regular price is $40, not worth it at that level. The Milats (two brothers and their wives) are good people, fun and good for a few laughs.
