| Clear, star bright, low concentrated faint straw core with green inflections; low viscosity. Delicately intense nose of golden delicious apples, peaches, light spice, honeyed hints, chalk and button mushrooms. Moderate body, complexity, acidity and alcohol with long length. Lemon pith, apples (lightly cider tones), stone fruits, hay and honey hints. Balanced with nice layering. | | |

| $18 from the winery, so probably a few bucks cheaper retail. I have family in Anderson Valley in the industry so almost every wine I get from the area is 50% off.
A screaming deal at $9. | | | |

| I have a bottle from this producer from Mendocino grapes called Edelzwicker (2003). The only CT note on it makes we wonder if i should bother opening it (we got it as a gift from friends of friends...). Have any experience with it...anyone? | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| Yes, like an Alsace Edelzwicker it is a blend. They blend Gewurz, Riesling and Piont Gris , but 2003 could have been different. It's a decent, refreshing wine but don't be prepared to be wowed, it is a $12 bottle. Also, since an '03, sooner rather then later would be in your best interest. | | | |
