$24.00, Retail.

Only quick thoughts/TNs: damn, this is a nice bottle of wine. A great little chard for the money providing a great value. A young bottle of wine. There is no rush on this @ all, but you can also drink it now w/o any hesitation. A nice long, crisp finish, fruity, some acidity, a lively & refreshing bottle.

Parker rated this 90 points, I am going a point higher.

Rating: 91 points, drink or hold.

I did not taste a lot of oak, actually plenty of fruit & a lemony-type tang to it. Crisp.

I'm going to admit a dirty secret... I love this wine! Year in and year out they produce a wine that, while not profound, is pretty darn good, especially considering the price. They peak in about 2 years, so no worry about excessive aging.

I had posted this about a month ago http://www.vinocellar.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=349839&page=4&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1. I had liked Beringer PR before but didn't care much for this one, as you will see my notes were a bit strange I was a little over generous the first night. I found the finish short, and the fruit a bit sweet. I put it in the mid 80's. To be fair I am not a huge Chardonnay drinker until trying the Ramey Hyde so maybe I expected to much, but to me this tasted like any run of the mill chard I could have gotten for about $10 less.
