To see this wine so high up the chain was excellent. A real good value wine, I was surprised to see it revealed at the end of the tasting as the wine that scored as highly as it did. This retails for around $9 USD.

The lovely lighter but vibrant crimson colour eluded to this wines clean flavours. Cherry, toasty oak and cough syrup were all evident on the nose. The palate was weightier than expected with good warm tannins and powerful acid dryness. It does need age to reach its full potential. 89 points.
