In seeking out any NZ Pinots available in northern NJ, found Spy Valley 02 Marlborough PN and Peregrine 01 Central Otago PN.

Peregrine: NIce primary berry and ripe cherry aromas. Nice balance and mild acidity. Good finish. Tasted again a day later and flavor profile basically same with a slight loss in aroma.

Spy Valley: Not as bright or primary cherry/berry fruit as Peregrine. Slightly more earthy. Taste trailed off and not as complex as Peregrine.

I believe the Spy Valley received a 91 rating from either WS or WA. Based on my tasting, I'd give Peregrine a 93. Spy Valley bought for $19 and Peregrine bought for $29.

Note: Tasted the Peregrine 02 in NZ on trip in April and found it to be one of the best during a 5 winery tasting tour of Central Otago.
