Pale, straw yellow. Fruity nose with honeydew melon and lime. Easy quaffer with a palate of grapefruit, lemon/lime. Good racy acidity, short clean finish. 84 points. Great QPR at less than $10CAD a bottle. Not something I would drink all the time, but not a bad last minute pickup.

Wow,
The last time I had muller thurgau was back in 1994. I'd thought they had stopped exporting some years ago. You won't see much of Corbans anymore, they've been purchased by Montana aka Brancott. A couple of the labels have survived-Stoneleigh, Huntaway and one or two others but Corbans is swiftly becomming a memory.

Thanks for the information Jeremy. It's a wine that I wouldn't seek out, but at the same time, I wouldn't be opposed to drinking it again if it was brought by a guest (as was the case on Saturday). Apparently it's a very popular and inexpensive SB here at the LCBO. I wonder what people will do when it's no longer available. God forbid they have to find another wine to drink.
