Normally I try to stick to the most recent vintage when buying kiwis, but for $8 and strong sales rec. I decided to try. This is a very nice NZ SB, it is not exactly typical of others though. This wine exhibits a bit of a vegetable nose of radish, and green bell pepper with a hint of mowed grass here is also a bit of lime juice and stones. The flavors are similar starting of with flavors of celery, green pepper, citrus peel, lemon lime and a minerally hint on the finish. Long lingering finish. This is one of the more interesting ones I have tried in a while and a steal for the price. I would say 91pts. but don't expect the typical tropical fruit. Probably my favorite since the 2003 Spy Valley.

TJ - I think you would like this one.
