Had this at a tasting on Thursday night. Light yellow/green color. Nose of citris fruits, grass, and a tart metalicy smell. Smooth initially, but had a tart/acidic finish. Not as good as in years past.

The 2004 was a lot better aromatic, with spices, and a great flavour

while i was at new zealand...they told me that 04' was much better vintage than 05' ?

The '04 is excellent. Maybe time to stock up and skip the '05. By the way, we had the the '04 KC and Dogwood side-by-side and everybody preferred the KC.

i still see 04' in stock at the local store. but i still have 2 cases in my cellar....u think its over doing it?

1 good party on the decka nd most of that will be gone.

I say stock up. The 2005 is nothing special.
