  • 2003 Drylands Sauvignon Blanc - New Zealand, South Island, Marlborough (7/10/2005)
    Tried this on a lark. Never heard of it, but Mrs. TJ had it in the cart and who am I to say no? Wjile I prefer my NZ SBs from the current vintage, this did not disappoint. While not as racy as I usually like them, this delivered layers of tropical fruit and plenty of bracing acidity. Makes my mouth water just thinking about this wine. Nicely done. (89 pts.)

tj - if im not mistaken....when we went to new zealand we notice that dryland and nobilo is under same company and they make their wine at the same winery.
