$15.00, retail.

Hey, this is a very good Sauv Blanc for the money. WS is right on target with this bottle. They rated it a 91, I would rate 90.

From start to finish, a solid bottle, a very nice bottle. Well balanced, not too acidic, refreshing, tasty. Also tasted peaches, white peaches, & green apples.

Recommend highly, 90points, drink now & enjoy.

I opened a bottle last night. I was not too impressed: I got lots of grass, but little fruit. It did open up a bit as it sat in the glass. I'll try the second half of the bottle tonight.

Based on what I tasted last night, I wouldn't buy any more. Hopefully my thoughts on that will change tonight.

I tend to agree with lcc. Loaded with grapefruit. I got it for $13. Great QPR. Don't drink it too cold.

I had this the other night as well, and was overwhelmed by the fruit - like smashing a freshly cut lemon on my nose. It paired well with the grilled shrimp we were eating, which was a bit tangy. Although it was pleasant, at $14 (from Costco), I didn't think it was a great a value for a sauvignon blanc.

Finally tried one of these.

Tasted in generic wine glasses. 12.5% alcohol.

Very pale straw color. Sides were coated with wine that very slowly moved in sheets down into the glass.

This was a fruit bomb for sure...peaches, nectarines, honey. Very nice, pleasant wine. Certainly different than the California SBs for sure.

WDoT say 90+. I would not hesitate to buy this again, especially for the hot Texas summer months.

2004 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough (WIML88,NOWA,WS91)

Tasted March 26, 2005 at an offline so brief comments only. Opened and served immediately in Spiegelau Vino Grande White Wine glasses. Light straw color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of fresh cut grass and citrus. Flavors of lime, mineral and passion fruit. Solid wine but the flavor profile was a little offputting for my personal tastes after one glass. Recommended if you can find this locally at an agreeable price point. Drink now.

I'm not usually a NZ SB fan, but I enjoyed this one enough to buy.I enjoyed the grass elements and found the fruit to not be as tart as other NV SBs.

Thanks for the note, PURPLE. I tend to shy away from them also, but I may have to look around for this one. Warm weather isn't too far away!!!

Had my only (so far) bottle tonite.
I got the grassy and grapefruit aromas and flavors, but I couldn't find any pears.
Then my wife informed me that it was too cold (the wine, not the weather). Naturally, she was right.
This is a solid effort. As the summer months approach, I will be buying more. 89-90 points.

We had this side by side with the Goldwater last night. The Kim Crawford blew away the Goldwater.

Pale straw in color. Sour apple and grapefruit on the nose, the grapefruit continues on the palate with lemon and good acidity. A clean crisp finish. (90 pts.)

I would describe this as grapefruit in a glass.
Nice fresh fruit flavors exactly like grapefruit with just a touch of lemon.
Crisp finish.
