| I haven't had the 2000 but I bought a few bottles in Vancouver of the 1999. I think it was at Marquis. It is remarkably good. If I saw it again for the price I paid (Go Strong Dollar!) I would purchase it again. Please don't hate me Board-O . | | |

| Green tea for me. Healthy. Very healthy. Rumour has it that it helps you rid those excess pounds (great after the holdiays!). Tremendous variety of flavours/styles available. Japanese Green Ceremonial Tea (powder form) makes an incredible tea. I drink a lot of coffee as well, but I feel "better" about drinking tea. A GREAT source for all teas, and certainly for green teas is: http://www.uptontea.com/They have a very good website and extremely good online ordering system. | | | |

| I agree with Brian here, the big guys won't be able to get the entire market (especially with the way wine is allowed to be marketed in CA). However there will probably be some gobbling up of weaker winerys by larger winerys. It will be interesting to see what happens with pricing. I suspect that many of the Napa Cab producers will try to bend us over with the 2001 vintage. They rode the critics praises to higher prices and when they got panned for 1998 and couldn't continue to raise prices they didn't like it saying "the wine isn't bad". They are correct, it isn't bad. But it wasn't worth anywhere near the money either. The vintage was not a superior one as the previous 8 years had been. When Bordeaux has a lesser vintage prices drop, Napa doesn't think this applies to them. I do think that if the economy is still in the dumps then this will backfire on them. | | | |

| Frankie: You missed the last part of my Original post: "...Heck, if some other team wants to Join, even better..." This is good. This thread is just for that---throwing out ideas. If a few teams JOIN, this could by a LOT of Fun. And, the BEST Wine-tasting EVER. And, I mean EVER!!! ojeffso: Definitely, HAVE to be a Member of This Site. | | | |

| Lots of reports of bottle variation too. Have not had one in several months. 1/3 cab, 1/3 merlot, 1/3 sangiovese IIRC. | | | |

| Yep. I used those Sites to get info, use the Leasing Formula to calculate my estimated payments. And, get a ballpark figure on monthly lease payments. Then, come prepared to my local dealer & make a good deal. It has been working out pretty good for me for a long time. | | | |

| Not sure. Did you check the Web-site? But, they have just about everything that you can imagine. Not cheap (the Wine-list & the food). But, a MUST. Good choice of Restaurants. 1 of the world's best, for sure. | | | |

| Like lcc said, they have everything. If you can imagine drinking it, they have it. Just be prepared to pay top dollar for the trophies. But current offerings of wines that do not move auction markets are within reason. For example, last fall we selected a white for the first course(s) and paid just around $100 for a Brewer Clifton Seeney Canyon chard. Certainly not a shocking price. The big name reds, however, were out there. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| The last time I was there they had 1992 Bonneau Cuvee des Celestins CdP for $172 or less than retail. Its a gorgeous bottle that is drinking quite well right now. FYI, they emailed me their list when I asked them to do that. | | | |

| It is one of the best if not the best restaurant I've had the pleasure to dine at. Don't be intimidated by the wine list. The first time I went I knew next to nothing about wine. The wait and wine staff were very accomodating and helpful. The prices are on the high end but I try to eat there everytime I'm in New York. I actually got a kitchen tour on one trip when I asked! | | | |

| You might call them and ask you to fax it to you. The Inn at Little Washington was kind enough to do so for me when I asked. | | | |

| rjs: No worries. Even if they do not fax it. It is a real nice place. They do not rush you @ all. Real class & respect. You will have time to look over the list & choose whatever you want. We did not have it ahead of time, & no problems...
Menu: Everything there is top notch. But, if you like foig gras, WOW!!! | | | |
