Kasha

Csirke Paprikas
Alma-Kelkaposztasalata

The Wine:

Are these themed wine and food get together thingies that you host/go to? Just curious how you're doing this stuff.

These pairings are part of a wine and food pairing class that MadameNCVL and I are taking at a local community college. The college, Mission College, has aHospitality Management Department that we accidentally fell into last year on one of our trips to a local wine shop. While in the store we asked if they offered any wine classes, they said no but one of the guys behind the counter turned out to be a teacher/chef/wine dude at the college. The rest is history, we took his Wine, Beer & Spirits tasting class last semester and then the Wine and Food Pairing class this semester.

I love pickled and creamed herring. Perfect with a tart Riesling.
