banana and lemongrass soup with crab and curried eggplant
chicken and lettuce hand wraps
steamed clams simmered in sake and black bean broth with chinese greens and grilled crouton (basically grilled bread but with great seasoning - chinese 5 spice?)

Very simple evening, but one of the best foodie experiences I've had in a while. Reheared porchetta sandwich from Salumi, fresh tomatoes, basil and mozerella (made yesterday at Salumi) drizzled with Picholine olive oil (from the Olive Bar in Campbell) and sea salt, some wafer thin lomo (yeah, Salumi) and a village sancerre (pinot) that I picked up at Costco.

Still have a finocchiona salami and a bunch of panchetta that I have to figure out what to do with :-D
