Excellent idea!

Having red black and blue buffalo burgers here as well - , w/grilled red onion, black pepper and bleu cheese.
No beans.

Ok, I'm counting the mintues here and going nuts. 8:00 dinner reservations with another couple at

Magnolia Grill!!!! It's about as close as I'm going to get to the French Laundry for quite a while, so we're bouncing around the house. SQN Omega, Turley Hayne Zin and a Peter Michael chard queued up for the wine!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

The Rocket Scientist outdid herself yesterday with a 4 hour, 3 course meal.Â

Baby spinach and roasted beet salad with toasted walnuts, dried cranberries, avocados, and goat cheese in a balsamic vinagrette.Â

Fresh fettucine with a nutmeg-scented ricotta and parmaggiano reggiano sauce.

Roasted breast of chicken stuffed with parmaggiano bread crumbs; garlic-sauteed broccolini.

The last two courses served with 1997 Collosorbo Brunello di Montalcino.

Sunday night at XYZ in San Francisco:

Green salad
Pan seared scallops with risotto.
Sorbets of some sort, lime + blackberry?

04 Brewer Clifton PN Santa Rosa

Everything was delicious.

Monday night at Oliveto's in Oakland:

Buffalo mozzarella with roasted beets
Sturgeon with fennel puree

Delicious.

Served with 05 Ponzi PN. Seemed too young, kind of primary and in your face. The rest of the group (non winos) thought it was good.

Fortunately the company paid for both dinners.
