For her dad's visit, The Rocket Scientist made tenderloin in a shallot and port reduction. The downside is that the smallest cut she could find was 3 lbs, and there are lots of leftovers.

Darn those tenderloin leftovers!

Last night I madeArtichoke Ravioli with Tomatoes The recipe looks complex but there is a lot of yada about making the ravioli. This was a good meatless entree that matched well with wine.

Did you have them hermetically sealed and flown in from the west coast?

Nope, In-N-Out had him hermetically sealed and flown TO the west coast.

Ceaning out the fridge - lots of cheeses and leftover snack type things that must go before I do!
Washing it down with 02 Lewelling
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is...

.ps - friends don't let friends eat farmed salmon.

Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup. Just couldn't bring myself to eat any more Meatloaf leftovers....no matter how good it is.

Tonight....
This is a big event, well if you live in East Boothbay in the winter it is. My friend and chef just opened the East Boothbay General Store after it's previous owner decided to stop paying his mortgage and closed down. On the menu is a Luau Pizza which I'm REALLY looking forward too tonight since it will be about 5 degrees out if it's lucky.

I know how that is. Leftovers and I only get along when eaten for lunch the next day. At most, lunch the next day and for one other meal. After that...it's pushing the envelope.

Speaking of leftovers...I made beef fried rice from leftover steamed rice and asian marinaded flank steak. It was very good.
