(Grenache, Mataro, Shiraz, old vines) Light in color. Barnyard stink and sulfur aromas gave way to a portish nose after 45 mins. Light mouthfeel. Surprising tannic. Fruity with strawberries and red cherries. Not very complex. High acidity. This wine was interesting and seemed to gain even more acid as the night went on. I’ve never had this happen in a wine before. Not really a disappointment, but more of an enigma. 86 pts.
