Hey, a Tasting Note! Haven't done one of these for a while. My nose is completely screwed at the moment due to rhinitis and subsequent medication so nose notes are out.

Wine is lovely plummy colour, like late season rosas. Fabulous long legs: slightly Olive Oil rather than Naomi Campbell but great nonetheless. In the mouth the wine was very balanced with just the right amount of cherry, plum and blackberries against sweet acidity and tannins. Nice wine with the feeling that it should have been from Bordeaux rather than Barossa.

I may have to stop this medication as the loss of smell is not good for this hobby. As for monthly wine columnist - it's a disaster.
