1998 Langmeil Barossa Valley Shiraz -- a beautiful, very dark ruby color that warms up a decanter; lots of berry fruit and papper on the nose; sweet fairly intense blueberry and anise flavors; medium-to-long finish with lots of fruit and some drying tannins at the very end. Not a showstopper, but a delicious example of ripe Barossa fruit. App. 89-90 pts.
