- 2003 Tapestry Shiraz McLaren Vale - Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale (10/12/2008)
Popped and poured. Dark in glass, the aromas of plum, coconut, and a touch of smoke & game are very much correct for this varietal. Medium body, this wine is fairly smooth and mellow at this point in it's life, the cocoa tinged black fruits accented by dill and cedar, no doubt influenced by American oak. Tannins are present but have settled down from release. A nice Shiraz, if a bit on the simple side. (87 pts.)

Pretty nice QPR if you can find for half-off.
