2004 Betts & Scholl Grenache - Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley (5/14/2007)
WIML90,PURPLE91,NOWA,WS91

Tasted May 14, 2007 at home. Opened and splash decanted about 30 minutes before serving in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Garnet, slightly dusty. Nose of Kirsch, red currants, mixed berries and white pepper. Seemed a little hot on the nose as well. Later some maple or brown sugar aromas. Flavors of red berries, red cherries, red currants and just a little licorice. Light to medium acidity, medium tannins, light to medium body. Drink over the short to medium term. Revising my previous score of WIML90-92 to WIML90. (90 pts.)

Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.
