2004 John Duval Wines Plexus GSM - Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley (3/23/2007) Tasted at a retail tasting. This wine produced a difference of opinion between me and LB. I seemed to like it more than she did, whereas LB felt it could have used more structure. Oh, now she likes tannins! Hmph! Anyway, a rich nose of blueberry preserves, game, and peppercorns, followed by a juicy wave of black raspberries, red currant, vanilla, and watermelon Jolly Ranchers on the palate. Medium body. Bright acidity. Low tannins. Some heat on the finish. In spite of what LB thinks of this wine, I believe its best years lie ahead of it. A proud 90+ points. (90 pts.)

i think it's good to go now, but i won't be opening any of my own bottles for at least a year. the guy who was running the tasting was generous enough to pour me a whole glass of it after i the tasting, so i've had my fill for now.
