  • 2001 Parson's Flat Shiraz - Cabernet - Australia, South Australia, Padthaway (12/31/2004)
    Had this on New Year's eve and was not disappointed. This has always been one of my favorites from the Sparky Marquis portfolio, and I was glad to see it hasn't lost anything. The fruit was solid and dark with good mid-palate concentration. No noticeable heat. Nice mouthfeel. Very good. (93 pts.)
