| Wow. Beautiful sweet nose of super-ripe black cherries, anise, clove, and brambly fruit. Wonderfully smooth and simply delicous on the the palate, full, rich, weighty, with good length. Tannins are present, but barely noticable with such fine balance. 94 points, drink now-2008. | | | 2008: the end of an error |

| Had this last night. Bought 4 from Sam's @38.00.
This took 1 hour to open, but boy was it effusive when it did. Violets and plum, with black cherry and blackberry, and a dollop of mint and leather, this relatively full bodied Shiraz held a solid midpalate into a singing finish, maintaining great balance all the while. This low acid , only moderate tannin but well oaked beauty is worth seeking. Reminded me of the WOTN from our Shiraz tasting in 9/02.

| I opened this last night and drank w/o decanting four the next four hours. On the nose there was all kinds of blueberry with hints of other black fruit. On the palet there was that same luscious blueberry and dark fruit along with hints of violets. The oak that was a little more prevalent last time, but this time it was a lot more well integrated. Finish had great length. Overall just a supersmooth wine that you keep smacking your lips over. I can't believe what a value it was at $39 two years ago. I' m glad I still have a six pack left!!

| I had this last night with very similar notes as posted above, but just not all there. I think that the bottle was slightly off. (Didn't stop me from finishing it though) | | | |

| I opened this wine at a Superbowl party and it was gone really quickly. When we tasted the 01 garden series side-by-side, this wine was our favorite. This bottle did nothing to change that opinion. There is still plenty of fruit (black fruits) on the nose and palate to hide the 15% alcohol. It is a fun wine to drink with a very satisfying and long finish. I think this will go another year or two, but why wait. | | | I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it. | |

| This wine is singing beautifully at this point in its development and should go another two years or so. Just fun to drink. Nice pairing with rack of lamb. | | | I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it. | |

| This wine is drinking well and continues to mature. I think that I'd drink remaing bottles in the next year. Nice pairing with rack of lamb. | | | I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it. | |
