This wine is made from the Agiorgitko grape, one of the two best (imo) uniquely Greek varietals. This medium purple wine had a sweet and hot nose of ripe berries. It was a lighter style of wine with a bright cherry flavor. It reminded me of a young Villages Burgundy from an average vintage. There was a crisp acidic edge to the wine, along with copious tannins that softened with a little time in the glass. I think this will improve a little with another year in the bottle. 85-86
