Very pleasant and stil moderately tannic, acidity is there but subdued. Medium body, flowery nose, I should get more.

Had the 1998 1er Cru on Sunday. Concentrated but bottled up tight as can be and opened probably 10+ years to young.

1998 was a tough year, but I never had a bad bottle from that vintage from any producer. Go figure....

I got this particular Leroy as it was the cheapest one on the shelf by a $100.
