2000 Bonneau du Matray Corton Charlamagne Grand Cru
Pale straw with green hints, a medium nose, focused of obscene minerals and stones mixed with green apples. Medium body, medium plus intensity and acidity the palate is the pretty much a mirror image of the nose. Great balance and flow these are some of the best deal Grand Cru whites in the Cote d’Or. Recommended if you like your stones. Drink or hold for 3-5 years.

I had the 2000 BdM Corton Charlemagne at a dinner about a year ago when it was showing a lot of minerals and class but was still very, very tight. I wonder if the wine won't still be pretty young in 3-5 years. I have another bottle or two had been planning to leave them for at least 5 years.

Probably will still be on the young side, but I would rather err on the safe side as well.

BdM is my favorite producer of Corton-Charlemagne. It's one the great buys in Grand Cru white Burgundy.

Not my favorite, but definitely the best valued Corton if not Grand Cru burgundy there is.
