This wine had a smoky taste that masked most of the potential fruit. It was very thin which contrasts with the review that states that it is "medium-bodied". It had acidity and tannins so perhaps it may come together. I doubt it.

Holding the other bottle for at least a year because it can't hurt this one.

I've always heard great things about this wine, but to me it's never lived up to the hype. When I've had it, I've preferred the Clos des Mouches Blanc.
